An improved version of Panama (Boonie Hat), used in the US Armed Forces
Hard stitched the field. Compared to the old version of the field Fusion edged basic cloth, not monochromatic tape
cord with a convenient lock
Barred eyelets on either side of the head for ventilation
Along the perimeter of the crown stitched ribbon forming cells for installation of masking elements (vegetation, etc.). Unlike the American original, not from tape sewn slings, and from the underlying tissue, which is particularly important in camouflaged versions of Panama

- Rip-stop, 35% cotton, 65% polyester. The fabric is produced in the US under license by Schott Performance Fabrics inc.
